Emily will work from a sketch, color samples and reference photos taken during an initial sitting. The clients input is very important and a collaborative process will be used to determine the goal of the artwork. A down payment of 30% is required. Balance is due upon portrait completion and acceptance by the client. When the subject is unavailable (as in a posthumous portrait), the portrait can be created using photographs alone. Costume attire is 15% more. Quotes are available for a larger canvas or multiple subjects on the same canvas. Custom framing is available at an additional cost. Finished work is guaranteed.
The approximate wait time for a completed charcoal is two weeks, four weeks for a completed pastel and two months for an oil painting.
